I am a Postdoctoral Fellow in Statistics at the Research School of Finance, Actuarial Studies and Statistics of The Australian National University, in Canberra, Australia.
Previously, I was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the School of Mathematical and Physical Sciences of University of Technology Sydney, in Sydney, Australia, under the supervision of Prof. Matt Wand and a Research Fellow of the Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence for Mathematical and Statistical frontiers (ACEMS).
I completed my PhD in Statistics at the Department of Statistical Sciences of Università degli Studi di Padova, in Padua, Italy, under the supervision of Prof. Nicola Sartori, and the co-supervision of Prof. Alessandra Salvan and Prof. Matt Wand.
My research interests range from methodological and computational statistics to statistical theory, with a particular focus on variational approximations and generalised linear mixed models. I am currently working under the supervision of Dr. Francis Hui.
