Biography

Hua Deng is a Lecturer in Finance.  Her research interests include corporate finance, specifically, the interactions of agents in the international corporate bond market, the mechanism of efficiency gains in cross-border financing, and block ownership and its impact on firm performance. Hua’s research has been published in the internationally renowned outlet Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis. All her work is informed by her extensive industry experience as an equity analyst and various business roles before embarking an academic career.
