Biography

Hua Deng is a Lecturer in Finance.  Her research interests include corporate finance and corporate governance, navigating into the area of the interaction between classical corporate finance theories and the rising importance of ESG in corporate decision making. Hua’s research has been published in the internationally renowned outlet Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, and The Journal of Asian Business and Economic Studies. Her research is informed by her industry experience as an equity analyst and various business roles before embarking an academic career.
